A few days ago I reviewed Orly's Mirror Mirror, it can be seen here.......today comes the konad!

I used 2 coats of Orly Mirror Mirror as the base, could have done with three but two was enough as a konad base.
I wanted the try the hounds-tooth pattern on plate M63 as it would suit grey very well. So I stamped over the top using Barry M Grey, which is a darker shade of grey than Mirror Mirror. It works really well giving a subtle and classy design, at least I think so ! LOL

What do you guys think?

Watch out next week for the start of my polish comparison posts.
I will be starting with greys to coincide with this post, then will be moving through the colour spectrum over the coming weeks.
So be sure to check back and have a peek at them.
I know I always look for polish swatches when buying new shades, mostly to see if I have something similar already, or to give me a better idea of the shade when compared to something I know. Really helps when buying online, so I thought these posts may help you too.
In the meantime, have a great weekend!
So subtle. I love it!

ReplyDeleteBarry M nail paints work with Konad? iv tried with no success! :o(
ReplyDeletex.jess.x: all the ones I have tried worked fine, wonder why? Are you scraping and stamping very quickly, as they will dry faster than konad polishes......
