Polka Dot nail art - China Glaze Second Hand Silk/Misa I Will Survive


I swatched China Glaze's Second Hand Silk a little while ago, it can be seen here.  As you know, I loved it!
I couldn't resist adding some polka dots to the mani, pinks just look fab with black polka dots, had to do it......

So I used Misa I Will Survive, a rich, opaque black creme and used my smallest dotting tool to add some small, widely spaced polka dots.


I just loved this mani, and I had lots of compliments when I went shopping, most people asked what salon I got my nails done at! I was very surprised and flattered that everyone thought it had been professionally done. Isn't it lovely when people ask about your mani's, feels really nice.


I wore this for a few days as I loved it so much and only removed it when it chipped. Won't be long before I do this one again!

    Spots are usually much bigger. Your take on polka dots is the nicest I've seen.

    Jaljen: thanks :o) That is why I didn't use the Konad plate and do them by hand instead, I prefer them more delicate.

    I love polka dot manis as well, and this one is gorgeous. Also, I adore it when people comment on my nails, and ask me where I have them done. Today the receptionist at the dentist's office was impressed, so I gave her a link to my blog. Hee.
