OPI polish - Sand in my Suit

A quick swatch for you :o)

I have had OPI's Sand in my Suit for a while now, too many untried nail polishes means it is taking forever to wear them all.  I am buying faster than I wear them now, yikes !

This is a lovely neutral colour with a soft shimmer, not frosty, just subtle, enough to lift it and stop it looking flat.
Application was lovely, nice and smooth.  I have used two coats here and it is pretty opaque and is bottle colour.

I am surprised by how much I like this.  It is so pretty, just the right amount of shimmer.  Some neutrals can look very flat but this is lovely.  Will be wearing this a lot throughout summer.

That does look lovely - just about the right amount of shimmer!

A bit too much shimmer for me. May I say I am not so keen on your new watermark. The kisses are a bit distracting when they cover the nail.

Sorry.

Sorry.

Charlie: yeah, its not too in your face sparkle, very subtle

Jaljen: sorry you don't like the watermark. I may experiment a bit, just trying to protect as much as I can ;o) I will take what you have said on board though and make sure they are not on the nail if possible :o)

I looooooooove this color! I saw it at a salon for 60% off!! So I bought myself a backup bottle since I already owned it :) I think your watermark is cute! Maybe you could try lightening it. It could be transparent white instead of transparent black...? But maybe that would stand out too much. It so subjective. :) I'm paranoid about my photos being ripped off. My watermarks are all over the place! Lol

Polish Hoarder: it is a good one, worthy of a backup :o)
I do think the lip-prints were cute too, in keeping with my blog :o)
I will maybe either fade the watermarks more, make them smaller and not place them over the nail, maybe that will help?

There you go, I just redid the pics and made the watermark more faded, smaller and not on the nail, hope that helps and you prefer it this way :o) Feedback welcomed ;o)

Oh - I have so been wavering back and forth on this colour since I have the FP Putty in my hands and the China Glaze Heaven - but this makes me want to get the OPI as well, what's one more similar dupe to my stash of polishes!!

Great mani - great blog!! I just found you and I'm glad I did. I've added you to my blog list.
