Rimmel polish - Shocker

This is Shocker from Rimmel, part of the 60 second range.

It applied well, very opaque and had a shimmery look to it. I felt it needed two coats to achieve bottle colour. It is a proper shocking pink, with a hint of blue/purple as the light hits it, not duo-chrome though, just a glow from it.
Application was okay, it was a bit thicker than say OPI, and you needed a good glob on the brush otherwise it dragged. I think this may have been down to the 60 second formula, however it took a fair while for two coats to dry considering this is supposed to be a quick dry polish, it really seemed about the same as usual to me.
These are okay polishes, they don't really do much to get me excited as say China Glaze, OPI or Nubar. But hey, I can get them at my supermarket, so I can drop one in the basket each time I go, so they are great for that! LOL
I could not capture the blue tint to this polish no matter how I photographed it, roll on Summer and nice lighting again!

Got a funky konad coming up with this as a base.........

I have this and a few of the rimmel 60 second polishes. They don't really get me excited but are plain and simple and sometimes that's all I want.

Plus as you say, the supermarket thing makes it easy to slip one into the trolley.. :P xx

yes I agree, they do have their place. It is great to be able to sneak them in the trolley, he hardly ever notices, or if he does never says anything lol ;o)
