Weekend Polish Haul

Hi Girls :o)

Hubby took me shopping last weekend (just got around to posting it though) and kindly bought me some new polishes!! Lucky girl!

First we went to Superdrug and picked up two Gosh polishes.....

Golden Dragon and Rainbow

Golden dragon is a wonderful green/gold metallic polish, Rainbow I have been after for ages. It is a clear varnish which has iridescent flakes suspended in it, they glow many colours as the light catches the bottle! Stunning and I am dying to get this over some darker polishes, it glows like embers over blacks, amazing.

Then we went to Boots where I picked up Sally Hansen MegaShine top coat and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top coat. I have never tried Seche Vite before so am very interested what I'll think, as I know it is a bit of a HG to many people. It kind of worries me though as I have read the application is a bit odd to get used to and has a tendency to shrinkage, will see how I go.......

While in there I decided to give the Collection 2000 polishes a try, I have seen these popping up on a few blogs with great reviews so grabbed a few....

Button Moon (mint), BMX Bandit (periwinkle), Dynasty (lilac)

Will be swatching these over the coming weeks!

I didn't know Boots sold Seche Vite! Would you mind telling me how much you paid for it? I completely understand if you'd rather not, I'm just interested for when I need to buy another bottle :)

Personally I've never had trouble with shrinkage/cuticle drag or any of those things, but I never put it over wet polish: I tend to wait at least three minutes before I put a coat on, perhaps that's why?

Great haul, thank you for sharing :)

Thanks for the tip Jenny, will try it that way too, I thought SV could only be used over wet polish, good to know.
Boots are charging £8.95 for it if I remember correctly, I don't have the receipt anymore ;o)

Thank you for replying! That's a good price, I think, plus I'll get Advantage points, hm, I feel a trip to Boots coming on :D

Great haul, Gosh Rainbows is amazing, I use it over al kinds of colors, I love how versatile it is! Never seen Golden Dragon though! It reminds me bit of OPI's reflecting pool. Can't wait to see these pretty babies swatched on your fingers :-)

HI Michele :o)
Rainbow is the best, I am so loving it, I think it will be the only polish I need to get a back up of.
I will swatch Golden Dragon for you soon, though I cannot do them justice, no where near as much as you could ;o)

Oh. My. God.
I'm desperately in love with these two Gosh Polishes!
Obviously, they're not sold here in Italy. :(
