Hiya!
Just a nice, clean simple French Mani today. I can't help it, I just love doing French mani's with my Konad, it makes it easy and this one is sooooooooo simple to do.
I used Konad polish in white and plate M41, I used the daisy block design for the tips. It's an odd design, not sure what they meant for it to be used for really. It is not big enough to be a full nail but is bigger than the tip designs. Oh well, I used it as a French instead!
So easy and very cute! Sadly I was wearing this when I snapped off my index nail, the middle one snapped off a day or two later and I was left stubby and sad......
My nails grow so slowly too, it will be at least two/three weeks before they look halfway decent, so there will be a few ugly polish pics over the next week or so :o(

Lovely! So delicate and simple...
Gorgeous.

Aw, it always seems especially cruel when you break a nail with a French mani on, if you see what I mean :(
We've all been there, it's not ugly, it's just temporarily different, nothing wrong with that :)
nihrida: thank you :)
susie: thanks babe
Jenny:you are so right, it looked bad as it took the whole tip off including the design LOL
Trouble is I seem to be constantly breaking them now, one after the other. I have just not been able to grow them and my nails have really suffered with the polish removers, they need a bit of a break I think :) Trouble is I love using polish now, feel naked without it :)
Really pretty, girl!

Laura: ROFL aw thanks sweetie :)
White is such an awesome staple!!! It goes with EVERYTHING! :) You did such a great job on this.
Ach, the same thing happened to me over Christmas: two bad breaks, then just as the first one had nearly grown out I had my right index bend so badly that it started ripping halfway down my nailbed - I was so scared that it would catch and rip and be so painful that I chopped it off as low as it could go and did the same thing with the rest. I was sad, but it made Konadding with full nail designs SO much easier, and nail polishes lasted way longer (Russian Navy Suede with ChG Millennium leopard print over it lasted me over a week with no chips, with of course no topcoat or basecoat: it also earned me quite a few compliments, woohoo! :D) I was determined to enjoy the benefits of short nails in the relatively short time before they grew back to normal, and with that attitude the time passed quite quickly :)
yeah, I must admit dark colours do look nicer. Though I suspect there is something else going on with mine, they are going very weird, not just random breaking but slight detachment at the tips and tender nail beds......might have to have them checked if it carries on. Great huh, just as I start to enjoy my nails LOL ah well.
Beautiful! I nominated you for the I ♥ your blog award. check it out here: http://polishandkonad.blogspot.com/2010/03/blog-award.html

Girl with the golden touch: thank you!
original01: glad you are enjoying the site. I just used plate 41 on the tips, no base coat at all, just konad white on plate 41, then a clear top coat. :)
