One Arrived ! OPI You're a Doll

Well my postie came and delivered just one of the polishes I have been waiting on. My OPI 'You're a Doll' arrived safe and sound. So, while I'm waiting on the rest, I thought I may as well have a play with this one.
I have a fair few old OPI colours that are paler, but they are all really sheer, still showing nail line with 4 coats, so I never really use those. This one is really lovely. It is a rich nude shade, sort of a taupe with a pinky-lilac hue to it. The formula was nice, smooth without being too thin. It was passable in two coats but there was still a hint of nail line visible. It took three coats to get the opaque look you see in the picture. I am impressed with this shade, it is very sophisticated. I can see I will wear this one a lot. I may konad over this one later.....pics will follow after the konad catch-up is complete.

This looks like a good "Mannequin Hands" color! It's a very pretty shade! ALU is looking for viewers to send their choice of color to her and she'll post it on her blog! Here is her original post.

it's a really pretty shade, I've been looking for such one, as I have a polish from essence and it's from their limited edition, just don't wanna run out on it:)

according to the pics they could be alike, but essence is a one coater:)

they do look similar, but this one has a definite pink/lilac tinge to it. Your one looks more natural than this one does. So hard to tell in photos isn't it, my lighting is not great......scrangie has a good swatch of it here...

........it might help you see if it matches better than mine does :o)
